How to define the maximum number of data records to be imported or exported in Talend MDM Web UI
In Talend MDM Web UI, you are allowed to import or export data records using the Import and Export button on the data browser page.
By default, an authorized user can import or export a maximum of 1000 records.
This article applies to Talend products with MDM 6.3.0 and above.
How to define the maximum number of data records to be exported
The following describes how to change the maximum number of data records to be exported.
For Excel 2007, the upper limit for the maximum number of data records to be exported is 1M.

Before you begin
Make sure you have been assigned a role with the appropriate user authorization and access rights.
Pay attention to the following cases:
- If you have been assigned a role with both write and create access rights, you can import a csv or xlsx file with both new records and records existing on the MDM server.
- If you have been assigned a role with write and no create access rights, you can import a csv or xlsx file with only records existing on the MDM server.
- If you have been assigned a role with no write access right, you cannot import a csv or xlsx file.
Procedure
How to hide the Import and Export button
You are allowed to hide the Import and Export button in Talend MDM Web UI.
To import or export a massive number of data records, you are recommended to design a Job in Talend Studio rather than using the Import and Export button in Talend MDM Web UI.
