A patch is a software update that fixes bugs. You are granted access to the patch by Talend Support and you can download and apply it manually.
Due to technical limitations, you cannot uninstall a patch. For this reason, Talend recommends to follow the best practices described below to test the patch first before applying the patch to production. These instructions should be read as general guidance. For specific patches instructions, please carefully read the patch and release notes.
All Talend Studio clients connected to the same project must install the same patch. Updating a Studio connected to a project requires all the Studios connected to that project to be updated.
