MDM: new features - 7.3

• Talend Data Authoring for MDM, previously for technical preview, is now a formal release.
• A new search is now available, which allows you to add multiple filters on the master data records list.
  
• Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports importing and exporting master data records.
  
• Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports viewing the history of a master data record.
  
• You can now access REST APIs based on Swagger and run requests on views, records, metadata, history, users, resources, and version information to interact with data in Talend MDM Server.
  
• The description on an attribute can now be displayed in Talend Data Authoring for MDM if it has been added to an attribute in the data model.
  
• You can now view the version information of Talend MDM in Talend Data Authoring for MDM.
  

Searching for a boolean type field that is equal to or is not equal to a value, true, false, the empty value, or any other input value, the return results in 7.3.1 are now different from previous versions.

Search behavior before:

• when searching for a boolean type field that is equal to the true value, data records that contain only the true value are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is equal to the false value or the empty value, data records that contain the false and null values are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is equal to any other input value, no data records are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is not equal to the true value, data records that contain the false and null values are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is not equal to the false value or the empty value, data records that contain only the true value are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is not equal to any other input value, all data records are returned.

Search behavior in 7.3.1:

• when searching for a boolean type field that is equal to the true value, data records that contain only the true value are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is equal to the false value, empty value, or any other input value, data records that contain the false and null values are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is not equal to the true value, data records that contain the false and null values are returned.
• when searching for a boolean type field that is not equal to the false value, empty value, or any other input value, data records that contain only the true value are returned.

You can now audit records based on the user name in the Journal and User Journal pages. When auditing records, you can see in the Results view the Primary Key information.

• tMDMViewSearch now allows you to activate or deactivate each specified filtering criteria when performing a view search.
  
• tMDMConnection now supports to execute the trigger only if the transaction is successfully committed by clearing the Auto Commit check box.
