Defining your own context connections

Talend Cloud has predefined properties for some applications and systems that are supported by default and for which you need to define context parameters. You can also define your own connections as context parameters and use them to connect to systems you support.

In some use cases, defining custom connection is recommended to better protect the system or applications you connect to. For example, when you use the tBatchAddressRow component in an artifact, you may want to create a custom connection to the API in Talend Studio and define the connection in Talend Management Console before running the task.
