Talend-Studio-macosx-cocoa.app can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer
Talend Studio is considered unsafe by Gatekeeper, which prevents it from starting.
Gatekeeper is a feature in recent versions of Mac OS X that controls the launching of appliations. You can find out more information about Gatekeeper on Apple's page "What is security".
By default, the security preferences of Gatekeeper only allow applications downloaded from the Mac App Store to be launched. As the Talend Studio is downloaded from the Talend web site, Gatekeeper considers it as an unidentified developer and blocks it.
You can open an application from an unidentified developer by following these steps.
- In Finder, Control-click or right-click the icon of the application.
- Select Open from the top of the contextual menu that appears.
- Click Open in the dialog box. If prompted, enter an administrator name and password.
If there is an application that presents multiple Gatekeeper dialog boxes, you can temporarily use Gatekeeper's Always option. Make sure to restore the Gatekeeper option that was there before to bring back Gatekeeper function.
