To be able to publish your Jobs, Services and Routes into your Artifact repository, you have to set its connection preferences.

If you use Talend artifact repository

  1. From the menu bar, click Window > Preferences to open the [Preferences] dialog box.

  2. In the tree view, expand the Talend node and select Artifact repository.

  3. The Release URL field is automatically set with Talend Artifact repository's default Release repository URL. Change it if needed.

  4. The Snapshot URL field is automatically set with Talend Artifact repository's default Snapshot repository URL. Change it if needed.

  5. By default the Group ID field is automatically filled in with org.example, change it by typing in the name of the group in which to publish your Jobs, Service and Route artifacts.

  6. In the User name and Password fields, default connection information are set but type in the username and password to connect to the Artifact repository if they are different.

  7. Click Apply to apply your changes and OK to close the wizard.

If you use Nexus artifact repository

  1. From the menu bar, click Window > Preferences to open the [Preferences] dialog box.

  2. In the tree view, expand the Talend node and select Artifact repository.

  3. In the Release URL field, fill in the Nexus Artifact Repository's Release repository URL.

  4. In the Snapshot URL field, fill in the Nexus Artifact Repository's Snapshot repository URL.

  5. By default the Group ID field is automatically filled in with org.example, change it by typing in the name of the group in which to publish your Jobs, Service and Route artifacts.

  6. In the User name and Password fields, default connection information are set but type in the username and password to connect to the Artifact repository if they are different.

  7. Click Apply to apply your changes and OK to close the wizard.

Now, you will be able to publish your services and routes onto your Artifact repository. For more information on how to publish jobs, services and routes, see their respective chapter in the present user guide.
