REST API Definition and API bridge |
The new REST API Definition metadata in the Talend Studio is the entry
point to use the Talend Cloud API Designer to develop REST Definitions
for the REST Data Service implementation in a contract first approach.
REST Data Services using tRESTRequest and Routes with cREST can benefit
from the new REST API Definition metadata and will use the API
Definition as initialization of the component. Services using
specifications from API Designer can also be directly tested with the
API Tester using a new integration between the Studio and the API
Tester. The API Designer and API Tester require a Talend Cloud
subscription which provides these capabilities.
