You can import context connection parameters from the Studio repository into the Integration Action and then add the parameters to the connection component in the Action.
An Integration Action is created and open in the Studio. For further information on how to build an Action, see Talend Integration Cloud Getting Started Guide.
A context group is created and saved in the Repository tree view. For further information, see How to create a context group and define context variables in it.
To import context connection variables to an Integration Action:
In the Studio workspace, click the Contexts tab to open the Contexts view.
If the Contexts tab does not show in the Studio, click Window > Show view > Talend, and select Contexts.
Click the icon to open a dialog box.
This dialog box lists all context groups created and saved in the Repository tree view of the Studio.
Select the check box of the context variables you want to import from the Studio repository and click OK.
The context variables are imported and listed in the Contexts view.
Double-click each of the parameters to open a wizard where you can define the parameter value.
The Studio removes connection parameter values from Integration Actions before publishing them to Cloud.
In the Integration Action, double-click the connection component to open its basic settings view.
Press Ctrl+Space in each of the connection fields to display the list of the context connections you defined in the Studio repository and select the context parameter.
The values of the connection parameter are not published to the Cloud with the Action. When you publish the Integration Action to the Cloud, web users must:
first, create the connection parameter in Talend Integration Cloud web application.
second, select the connection(s) for the source and target when they want to run Flows in Cloud.
