You can detect potential relationships by specifying an initial table and
column.
The relationship detection searches for matching columns or fields
based on metadata name, semantic definition classified by users to the same business
glossary term and semantic type discovered through data profiling.
Procedure
- From the home page of a metadata element, click the Relationships tab.
- In the List tab, click Detect.
- In the left pane, select a column to detect its related columns.
- Select a related column.
- Click Create Relationship.
