The lifecycle of the data resolution and data integrity tasks listed in the stewardship console involves the following steps:
a Talend Job that uses the tMatchGroup data quality component to carry out matching operations on data across heterogeneous sources that can be a file, a database, an application or tMDMInput. Or,
a Talend Job that uses different Talend components to deal with data integrity issues,
a tStewardshipTaskOutput component is integrated in the same Job to create/list the data resolution and data integrity tasks in the stewardship console. These tasks represent the problematic results of the matching and integrity operations and are stored as operational data in the stewardship console database,
an authorized steward intervenes to track/merge/resolve the tasks listed in the stewardship console to reach the final data records that will be stored in the stewardship console database,
another Talend Job that uses a tStewardshipTaskInput and any Talend output components to read the tasks in the stewardship console database and write the data in the MDM hub or in any MDM target application.
The tStewardshipTaskInput component will read resolved tasks from the stewardship console database and send the records stored in the tasks to the output component that will populate the MDM hub or any other MDM target application with these master data records.
When you want to write the resolved master data record in the MDM hub (XML repository), you must use the tMDMOutput as the output component. This component transforms the resolved data record to XML data to be able to store it in the XML repository.
For more information about the above-mentioned components, see the Data Quality and MDM component chapters in the Talend Components Reference Guide.
