Writing tasks dynamically into the same campaign on different Talend Data Stewardship instances

Write tasks dynamically into the same campaign on different Talend Data Stewardship instances, first on the test instance and then on the production instance.

Procedure

  1. Open the Component view of the tDataStewardshipTaskOutput component and click Basic settings.
  2. Enter context. followed by the value of each context variable for the Talend Data Stewardship instance in the corresponding URL, Username, and Password fields, context.TdsServerURL, context.TdsServerUsername, and context.TdsServerPassword in this example.
  3. Select Test from the Default context environment drop-down list in the Context view under the Job.
  4. Run the Job to write tasks in the campaign on the test Talend Data Stewardship instance.
  5. Select Production from the Default context environment drop-down list in the Context view under the Job.
  6. Run the Job again to write tasks in the campaign on the production Talend Data Stewardship instance.
The same Job populates two campaigns with the same data model on two different Talend Data Stewardship instances by using the Talend Data Stewardship connection parameters as context variables.
