Removing Remote Engines from clusters

Procedure

  1. Open the Processing page then click the Engines tab.
  2. Click on the name of cluster from which you want to remove a Remote Engine.
  3. Click the Edit icon.

  4. Remove the selection from the checkbox of the Remote Engine(s) you want to remove from the cluster.
    The tasks scheduled on the cluster will be executed/deployed on the remaining Remote Engines.
  5. If you are removing the last Remote Engine in the cluster but still have tasks running or scheduled on it, click remove from cluster in the dialog box that appears to confirm.
    The tasks are still linked to the cluster but they cannot run successfully if the cluster does not contain a Remote Engine.
