Removing child semantic links recursively

You can remove recursively the semantic mappings associated to all children of an object such as tables in a schema or columns in a table.

Before you begin

You have been assigned an object role with the Metadata Editing capability.

Procedure

  1. Go to MANAGE > Configuration.
  2. Select the semantic mapping in the configuration manager and open it.
  3. Go to the Mapping Editor tab.
  4. From the target model, right-click an object and select Recursively remove mappings.
  5. Click YES to remove the mappings associated to all children of the selected object.
  6. Go to the Report tab to verify.

Results

As you can see in the Report tab, all child semantic links have been deleted.
