Creating a Dropbox connection in Talend Management Console

When using connection context parameters, you must define a connection in Talend Management Console to be able to run the published Job.

About this task

You can select the connections needed from the defined connections prior to executing the Job. This way, you can execute the same Job on different Dropbox accounts.

Procedure

  1. Open the Management page.
  2. Click the Connections tab.
  3. Click Add connection.
  4. Select the workspace in which to create the connection.
  5. Select the Dropbox connector from the Application drop-down list.
  6. Enter a name for the connection.
    You cannot create two connections with the same name.
  7. Enter the generated Dropbox token in the Access Token field.

  8. Click Save.

Results

You are ready to create a Job task to extract customer royalties.
