Migrating from the integrated Drools Web application to a standalone KIE Drools Workbench

This procedure describes how to migrate a repository from the Drools Web application integrated to Talend Administration Center to a standalone KIE Drools Workbench (6.2.0 Final).

Procedure

  1. Go to the git repository folder on the Talend Administration Center server.

    Example

    <Talend Administration Center Installation Path>/apache-tomcat/bin/.niogit

  2. Copy the REPOSITORY_NAME.git folder to the location of your choice.
  3. From the standalone KIE Drools Workbench, go to Authoring > Administration.
  4. On the menu bar, click Repository > Clone repository.
  5. In the open dialog box, set the connection information to the repository copied earlier and click Clone to import the project holding the business rules.
    The Git URL uses the following syntax: file:///PATH_TO_REPOSITORY/REPOSITORY_NAME

Results

A confirmation prompt opens.

You can view the cloned repository in the File Explorer.
