When a project is imported to 7.3.1 from an earlier version that only supports Log4j 1, Log4j 1 is used by default to provide logging in 7.3.1 if Log4j is enabled in the earlier version. You can migrate to Log4j 2, which provides significant improvements over its predecessor Log4j 1, by selecting it from the Log4j version drop-down list on the Log4j view in the Project Settings dialog box.
