Using cross-referencing tables

Availability-noteDeprecated

From Talend MDM Web UI authorized users can create cross-referencing tables and save them on the MDM server to be used for master data content adaptation.

Cross-referencing tables enables Talend MDM to communicate and synchronize with target applications in the information system. These tables are used to convert data from one format or code to another during exchanges between source and target systems.

Information noteNote: The data in the cross-referencing tables is stored in the system crossreferencing data container and the data models of the cross-referencing tables are stored in the system crossreferencing data model in Talend Studio. You can edit the cross-referencing data or data model directly through the crossreferencing data container or data model.

Authorized users can create, edit, and delete cross-referencing tables and also upload data files into these tables.

The following sections detail the procedural steps to carry out each of the above management options.
