Before you begin

You have downloaded and installed Talend Studio from the
Downloads page in Talend Cloud.
For the installation instructions, see Talend Cloud Installation Guide.

You have fetched your Studio license from Talend Cloud Management Console.
For instructions, see Launching Talend Studio.
Procedure

Start Talend Studio.

Click Manage Connections to configure a new remote
connection.

Select a repository based on your region and requirements.
The Web-app URL is automatically updated according the
repository selected.

Enter the name of the connection in the Name field.

If you have installed the 8.0 R2022-01 Studio monthly update or a later one
provided by Talend,
enter your token in the Token field. Otherwise, enter your
name and token in the corresponding User name and
Token fields.
You can check your login name or generate a personal access token from your
Profile Preferences in Talend Cloud.

Click the browse button next to the Workspace field and
navigate to the folder to use.
You can also just enter the path to the folder.

Click Check url then OK.

Select the Git project and branch to connect to.

If you are connecting to the project for the first time, Studio will ask for
your Git credentials.
You can choose to store your credentials in Studio for easier access.

Click OK.

Click Finish.
Results
The progress bar appears and the Talend Studio main window opens with your
project.
