The "between" operator

The between operator allows you to check if a value is in a range of values. It can be used with the operator not to check if a value is not in the range of values specified. The expression is structured as follows:
value between start_value and end_value
The comparison is inclusive of the start and end values.
For example, the following expressions return true:
500 between 500 and 600
rating = 500, rating not between 501 and 600
