Contents of the runtime migration tool
This Talend Runtime migration
tool contains scripts and bundles.
The migration tool consists of:
- A set of scripts for Windows and Linux.
- An export bundle that the migration tool installs on the Talend Runtime to be
migrated to save the following information:
- Installed repositories
- Features
- Bundles
- Configuration of registries
- Keystores
- Environments
After a successful installation of this bundle, a customizationExport.zip file is generated to contain a list of what is installed in the current Talend Runtime.
- An import bundle that takes the customizationExport.zip archive
and adds the listed contents in the new Talend Runtime, if
necessary.
This bundle compares versions of the repositories, the features, and the bundles of both Talend Runtime instances to keep only the latest ones.
