Common properties

Sequence number

This parameter is used to change the sequence number fixed in the table in the model so that it is better suited to the selected target.

This number determines the order in which a table is processed with respect to the other tables in the model from the smallest number to the largest.

This order applies only to EXTRACT mode processing phases, i.e., at all times for a model in the EXTRACT mode, and in the recovery phase during loading for a model in JOURNAL mode.

Hold

This parameter is used to "hold" the table, i.e., inhibit the distribution of the specified table in this model on the selected target, until the check box is cleared.

Information noteWarning: For a model based on a journal: when you release a previously held distributed table, you must perform a recovery to ascertain the starting point of the distribution of the table. If, for example: the last sequence processed for the table when you held it, is sequence 101358 in the receiver JRNRCV004, you would restart and stop the distribution. If, when you release the table, you want it to continue from the sequence following the last sequence processed for it, you must perform a recovery from sequence on the table, as of the sequence 101359 in the receiver JRNRCV004.
