| Engine renaming |
The execution engines that are managed from Talend Cloud Management Console have been renamed:
- The Cloud Engine for Pipelines is now called the
Cloud Engine for Design.
This engine is embedded
by default in your Talend Cloud account and allows you to easily design
pipelines and preparation recipes without having to set up any
processing engines. It must not be used for production
purposes.
- The Remote Engine for Pipelines is now called the
Remote Engine Gen2.
This engine is a secure engine that you need to
install in your Virtual Private Cloud or on premises. It allows
you to do advanced processing of data and can be used for
production purposes.
