Talend Cloud Data Preparation

Feature Description
Magic Fill improvements As part of the substring type transformations, the Magic Fill function can now handle acronyms. You can convert names, units or expressions, regardless of the case, to their abbreviated forms, and decide on how to separate characters and which case to use in the output column.
Improved standardization possibilities The Standardize value function can now be applied to columns based on compound semantic types, and not only dictionary types.

In the same way, when editing a value in the grid, suggestions will now be also available in columns based on compound semantic types, in addition to dictionaries.

Normalize values extracted by semantic types When using the Extract values by semantic type function, it is now possible to replace the extracted value with the value in the dictionary by using the Normalize value option.
