Using Remote Engine secure port over HTTP

For security reasons, you may want to prevent the Remote Engine from listening on port 8043 (HTTP) and use the secure Remote Engine port instead (9004).

Procedure

  1. Stop your Remote Engine.
  2. Access the <RemoteEngineInstallationDirectory>.
  3. Open etc/org.ops4j.pax.web.cfg and add org.osgi.service.http.enabled = false.
  4. Start your Remote Engine.
