Deprecating an object
You must move the object through the defined workflow process until it is Deprecated. You cannot simply delete an object.
The process is identical to the publication process, except that you mark the object for deprecation by setting the Workflow Deprecation Requested attribute to True when editing the draft.
When deprecating an object, all child objects must first be deprecated.
Procedure
- Open the object page.
- In the Attributes area, click the Edit icon for the Workflow Deprecation Requested attribute.
- Select True from the list.
