Checking the version of the SAP Java Connector
Before installing the SAP Java Connector, you must check that you have the appropriate
distribution package for your system and processor.
Before you begin
Note that Talend Studio does not include the SAP Java Connector, it is usually delivered by your SAP provider. You can also download it from the SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/connectors. If you have any problems obtaining it, please contact your SAP provider.
Procedure
- Unzip the distribution package into an arbitrary directory {sapjco-install-path}.
- Open the installation guide page {sapjco-install-path}/javadoc/installation.html or {sapjco-install-path}/docs/jco/installation.html.
- Go through the SAP Java Connector installation page and check that you have had the appropriate distribution package for your system and processor.
