Running a Job task in a Dynamic Engine environment manually

Your task is processed by the Dynamic Engine associated with the environment, selected during the task creation.

You cannot run a task if the environment has not been assigned to a Dynamic Engine.

Before you begin

  • You must have the Execute permission on the workspace where the task is located to run a Job task.
  • The Dynamic Engine environment must be assigned to a Dynamic Engine (Ready status).

Procedure

  1. Open the Management page.
  2. Go to the Tasks tab.
  3. Select the task from the list.
    You can use the filters at the top of the page for example by selecting the environment, the workspace and the task type.
  4. From the task details page, click Run now to execute your task.
  5. Go to the Operations page to monitor its status.
  6. Click the task name to open the Run overview page.
  7. Open the Logs tab to see the task run logs.
  8. Open the Job tab to see the task design and run configuration.
  9. Expand the right panel to see the task parameters.
  10. Click View run history under Run ID to access the run history of the task.
