Semantic lineage
In Talend Data Catalog,
semantic lineage shows the dependencies between business and technical assets. There are two
types of data semantic analysis:
- Data definition allows to discover the meaning of the report fields.
- Data usage allows to determine where a semantic object, such as a term, is used by catalog assets in the enterprise architecture.
