Improving performances with an Amazon Kinesis target
Performance is dependent on:
- the size of each record,
- the maximum number of retries (see retry option in Configuring Amazon Kinesis connector),
- the number of threads used (see thread option in Configuring Amazon Kinesis connector),
- the maximum number of records in a packet (see row option in Configuring Amazon Kinesis connector),
- the number of shards (as declared in your AWS account),
- the cache size of the distribution: you can modify the Cache Size field in the distribution properties or KinesisCashFlush in the registry keys.
