The log file for a master data record lists descriptions of events associated with the record, including the CREATE, UPDATE, PHYSICAL_DELETE, LOGIC_DELETE, RESTORED, and ACTION operation events.

About this task

The following example shows how to view the log file for a master data records pertaining to the entity Product in MDM demo project.

Procedure

  1. Perform a search with a specified criteria to narrow down the listed data records by following Searching for master data records in an entity if needed.
  2. Move your mouse over the record whose log file you want to view and click View record history in its first cell.

    The description of the events associated with the data record is displayed in descending order based on date of the operation by default.

  3. If required, click Sort by date to rearrange the events.
  4. Click Go Back on the upper left corner to go back to the data records list.
