Talend Studio

Feature	Description	Available in
New way of updating Talend Studio	Talend introduces a new way of obtaining and installing Talend Studio monthly updates, which allows you to update Talend Studio more easily. Two update repositories are provided for Talend Studio feature packages and updates respectively. A new Update settings view, which allows you to configure the update repositories by setting the following two URLs, is available in Talend Studio Preferences dialog box. Base URL: the URL of the repository for Talend Studio feature packages. Update URL: the URL of the repository for Talend Studio updates. After setting up the update repositories for Talend Studio and configuring the update repositories in Talend Studio correctly, Talend Studio automatically detects, obtains, and installs the updates. The Feature Manager wizard and the Activate/Deactivate features view	Talend Studio now ships only Talend Studio feature lists by default and it provides Installing features using the Feature Manager, which guides you to install those features that are not shipped by default. This wizard is accessible from either the Talend Studio top bar or the Help menu. Activating/Deactivating installed features in the Project Settings dialog box, which allows you to activate or deactivate installed features in your project. The Third-party Libraries wizard	A new Third-party Libraries wizard, which allows you to install all third-party libraries in one go, is now provided in Talend Studio. This wizard can be opened via the Install third-party libraries button in the Modules view or the Go to libraries link in the Feature Manager wizard.	All Talend products
Migration report	Talend Studio now generates a CSV report file to list all items migrated or imported when migrating a project or importing items from a lower version project.	All subscription-based Talend products with Talend Studio
Project analysis tool	Talend Studio now provides a project analysis tool to help you analyze your project. The tool generates a CSV report file to list the items to check and the problems to fix manually.	All subscription-based Talend products with Talend Studio
Talend CommandLine installation	Talend Studio now provides two scripts, commandline_upgrade.bat for Windows and commandline-linux_upgrade.sh for Linux, which allow you to install Talend CommandLine by upgrading either a brand new or an existing Talend Studio. Support of finding Git commits	Talend Studio now supports finding Git commits in the Git History view and in the Git History tab of the Job view.	All subscription-based Talend products with Talend Studio
Support of configuring proxy and timeout settings when importing the license	A Network settings link is now provided in the Welcome to Talend Studio dialog box, which allows you to configure proxy and timeout settings when importing the license from a remote host behind a proxy. Runtime lineage	Talend Studio now supports enabling runtime lineage for Standard Jobs, which will be leveraged in future releases by the analysis capability of Talend Data Catalog for the runtime metadata, for example, queries with variables, schemas with dynamic columns, etc.	All subscription-based Talend products with Talend Studio
Enhancement of defining project references	A Use strict references to find joblets in target project check box is now available on the Reference Projects view in the Project Settings dialog box, which allows you to configure where to find a Joblet when building a Job. Talend Administration Center

Personal Access Token	Talend Administration Center now supports the use of Personal Access Token to log into MetaServlet and other applications, for example, Talend Studio, Talend Data Preparation, Talend Data Stewardship and so on, but not into the Talend Administration Center. LDAP groups	Talend Administration Center now supports importing user accounts from LDAP Groups.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB
Node ID	After your first connection to Talend Administration Center, a node ID is now shown at the bottom of the tree view of the Web UI. The node.identifier property is also added in the configuration.properties file, identifying the Talend Administration Center instance connected to the database. Patch version	Talend Administration Center now displays the patch version when a patch is installed in the General group of the Configuration page.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB
Group ID in Artifact selection	When adding an execution task to a Job published to Nexus 3 or Artifactory from Talend Administration Center, the Group ID can now be used to filter the Job if it is in a specific group.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB
SSO with NetIQ	It is now supported to configure SSO with NetIQ to login to Talend Administration Center.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB

Browser cache	Talend Administration Center now supports Cache-Control attributes to protect the browser caching of sensitive information.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB

Support for Red Hat-based database clustering	Talend Administration Center now supports the MySQL setup in failover configuration with Red Hat clustering.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB

Support for HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS)	Talend Administration Center now supports HSTS to instruct Web browsers to only access the application using HTTPS.	All subscription-based Talend on-premises products except Talend ESB
