Export Metamodel Packages
You may export the metamodel types you define in one repository and import them into another. As we export by package, you must have the types you want collected into a single package.
Information note
The Standard package cannot be exported.
Information note
If the package shows as Default then it is NOT in a package and must be placed in one to export.
Steps
- Sign in as a user with at least the Application Administratorcapability global role assignment.
- Go to MANAGE> Metamodel in the banner.
- Select a package (non system) in the PACKAGE FILTER pick list.
- Click the More Actions icon and select Export current package.
Example
Sign in as Administrator and go to MANAGE > Metamodel. Select the Business Policy and Rule Management package. Then click the More Actions icon and select Export current package.

It is downloaded as an XML file.
