Deactivating Unicode management

About this task

Set the Unicode variable to 0 value on the AS/400 IBMi machine, in DD_USRDATA/DD_CFG data area. It deactivates the Unicode management on the AS/400 IBMi source machine.
Restart the Manager.
Update, in all models of the AS/400 IBMi source machine, the table structures that have a GRAPHIC or NCHAR field. For this operation, click Force the structure changes from the menu that is available in two cases.
- Either go to the Source tab and right-click on a table in a model,
- Or go to the List tab and right-click after selecting various tables.
Restart the distributions that were updated.
Select a source, go to Distribute and right-click to access its Properties. In the Activity tab, click the Start button.
